Guide Gun question

I traded into a 1998 Guide gun with ports yesterday.  I know they have changed specs and I've never had a ported barrel.  Can I shoot cast loads accuratly through this rifle?

If thats a stock barrel  and it probably is then cast will shoot fine out of it.
