First trigger job
« on: February 21, 2010, 08:38:57 AM »
Folks - I just finished my first trigger job, using Perklo's info in the FAQ's.  Trigger started out around 7 pounds, and now is a consistent 3-1/4 pounds.  Wow, what a difference.  Can't wait to shoot it.

This is on a rifle that started out as a .308 Survivor, but I was not happy with the Survivor stock, and traded it to another member here for a wood stock.

Thanks for having all the Handi info available.

Thanks.

Tim

I will definitely get a range report, but it may be another week or two.  Seems like life keeps getting in the way of our hobbies.

Thanks.

I have to say that the trigger job info in the FAQ really works. I tried it for the first time too, and did it on my .22 sportster. I only did the polishing and no stoning and went from 5 1/2 pound pull down to 3 3/4 pound pull. It wasn't to bad just got hung up on reinstalling the trigger guard assembly, but managed to get it in after several tries.... :)
