What company makes a metal five or ten shot clip for a 541S Remington? Ive got the originaly five shot that came with the gun and it looks worn out. I bought a new plastic ten shot clip from Remington and when fully loaded it can squirt out all ten before ever being placed in rifle. Any help would be appricated. Jenkst

Brownells sells metal magazines for the older Remington bolt guns but I don't know if they fit the 500 series rifles which were later. I'd be interested to know as many have problems with the plastic junk Remington calls a magazine. I'd send the one you bought back for an exchange..
