CMP Garand

Wanted to let anyone still pondering on getting a Garand from the CMP to " go for it".
Just got my CMP Special on Monday...early Christmas present to myself. ;D
Only took about 2 weeks.

'Special'  new barrel, wood, parkerizing.  Next one will be a service grade..some nicks and dings for charactor. ;)
