Thinking of a Remington 7600 pump gun in 8x57 with a 20" barrel. Kind of a fun gun, but one to be shot more than the average once a year hunter would shoot his .308/30-06.
Does anyone have any experience about the ability of the Model 7600 to stand up to regular use, as to infrequent once a year sighting in and hunting use?
What kinds of parts breakage should one expect? Operating problems?
Almost everything I've read about the 7600 has been positive, but all was from hunters who did not necessarily use them for year round general shooting.
