T/C Butt plate

I need to replace the butt plate on my T/C New Englander due to heavy corrosion. Would like to know if the butt plate from a Renegade would fit. I have contacted Thompson Center about a replacement butt plate but they are no longer available. I have seen a few Renegade butt plates on e-bay. This is for a wood stock New Englander

I can't say for sure butt I think they will fit
I am doing a renegade over now give me some numbers on the butt plate (new englander)I will match it up to be sure against my renegade stock.
I know of a guy who has some for sale but they are used?

THe only number I could find was a etched number on the underside which is 9249. I wrote to T/C for the part number and  if the Renegade butt plate would fit. I hope they will get back to me. I wrote to them last week about replacement parts and they stated they do not have any.

Just got a reply back from Thompson. They say the butt plates are the same. How much does your guy wants for one?
