Sharp Shooter Supply trigger for Stevens 200/
« on: January 20, 2010, 12:50:37 AM »
Ordered a Stevens 200 in .223. When it gets here, I am going to get a sharp shooter trigger for it, if I can't get the factory one to my liking. They have two listed, one that you have to polish a part and one that is a drop in. Which would be the best for the 200 as a calling rifle. Would need a 2.5 to 3 pound weight. Thanks, Don

On one of the SSS triggers you have to send your rifle in to have it fitted. The other one as I recall sells for about $100 and is a drop in with only minor fitting if any at all. Any work performed by them and all their products is very good.
That being said, I elected to buy a take off Savage 3 screw trigger from them and put on my 200 which I am very satisfied with. Hope this helps.

You will be very happy with the drop in trigger. The other is a target trigger.

Thanks guys, The one that is not a drop in comes with a hone for the sear and allen wrench to adjust. It was 87.00 shipped, I think. It didn't say anything about shipping them your rifle. Thanks, Don

You have to send the rifle in for the target trigger.

The target trigger is just what it says - a target trigger. The let off is in ounces; not pounds. They want to tune your action and fit it. If you already had your action tuned by them, you can purchase the trigger and install it yourself. I believe there are two different triggers other than the target trigger. One is a pre Accu-trigger trigger and the other is for both. The pre Accu-Trigger will fit the Stevens 200 and is a little cheaper than the regular trigger.
