Where are all the new rifles?!!!!

Im feeling an itch and cant scratch it!  Ive looked alot of places and cant seem to find many rifles.
or at least the 2 I want, I have been wanting a hornet for a project gun, and a 30-30 forever and cant seem to find any in stock, not even online. I can find all the rifles I have, just none I want, errrr NEED. :D
I want NEW, so Im gonna have to wait, but its killing me!
Just thought id come here and whine a bit  ;D

Tim you have the IN, poke them with a stick and tell em to hurry up there are addictions that need tending to. :o

I don't think you'll find a new hornet anywhere, but I saw a  used  one today on gunbroker.com.  Go have a look.  The .30-30 should be easier to find.

yeah I did see that one as well.

My gun guy talked to his distributers, they say they are basically just waiting for them, really dont have much for stock at all.

But Im on the LIST!!!  ;D

No IN any more, my guy resigned from Remington and moved back to his home town to be closer to family, I made contact with his replacement, as soon as I told him I was a representative of GBO and avid H&R fan, he hasn't replied to me since.  :-\

LOL, Ironically Ive brought so many to the dance, I cant decide which gets the waltz and which the 2 step!
but yeah, waiting is the hardest part, Im confident eventually they will get around to sending some out.

 Im just a bit surprised that most places cant get them in, the ones ive talked to anyway.  It does seem that the 223,204 and the 45-70 are easy enough to get around here anyway. I just find it curious, that even most of the online sites are out of stock, the new crew over there must be a bit pokey, which is good, if it means a better product.

well thats too bad about the new rep, maybe he will come around, but knowing remington, probably not, just too big of a company to care it seems, its what I liked about the old place, seemed more mom and pop, with good service and I didnt have to wait so long listening to that god awful music in order to talk to a human.

Kal,  my local dealer had a synthetic hornet on the shelf a couple weeks ago, and tried to discount it for me, because it had been there a while.  I'll stop in Monday and check for you on price, etc...(Gives me an excuse  to stop).
