encore trigger improvement
« on: June 28, 2010, 04:29:23 PM »
What is the best way to improve trigger pull on a new encore rifle frame, some companies offer spring kits, some others will do for you,  What have you done, antoher question is a stronger hammer spring needed when using a aluminum spur I have had several missfires with remington brass, primer pocket does seem a bit deep though. Thanks Tom

I sent mine to SHOTS gunsmithing in Oregon, Jim did a great job.  Factory pull was 5.9 lbs, he installed the over travel screw and got it pulling 2.8 lbs as requested, very clean and crisp.  Very reasonable pricing and a great turn around time.
