Please help me identify a rifle!

I am trying to help my father identify a rifle.

Here is what we know;

It is a bolt action in 243 caliber

Fire Arms CO England is printed on right hand side of the rifle

A.D. Haller INC  Baldwin,  NY  is printed on the left side

Alpine Supreme is printed on the top

its serial # is P49130

We just wondered what company made it.  And possibly a ball park idea how many were made.  It was purchased in the mid 60's  in the US.  

Any help,  or tips about where to research would be most appreciated!!

You may try the GunPartsCorp or the BlueBook at your local dealer.  I haven't heard of that company..  good luck.
