NEF Stock Question
« on: February 02, 2010, 08:51:12 AM »
Maybe this question has been beat to death so excuse me if it has.....

I have a .17HMR that had the black all weather stock & forearm. I removed it and replaced it with a really nice wooden set.
Now the question.
Would the stock & forearm from a NEF .17HMR (heavy barrel) fit a H&R pardner 410 single barrel shotgun?
There is someone looking for one near to me and I would like to sell it.
Any help is very much appreciated.

It will fit, but the monte carlo stock is likely too high to use with the shotgun barrel, I have the same stock on a TDC which has a vent rib with turkey sights mounted on the rib which is quite a bit higher than the bead on the .410, I can just look down the sights over the comb, I wouldn't be able to get my face low enough for a bead front sight.

Still pretty inexpensive to get a hardplate wood shotgun butt to go with your forestock and have one of each. If you follow these posts much you just know you wont be able to have only one.

I'm located in Ontario, Canada Garbhead.
You could probably find one closer and save yourself a couple of bucks in postage!?
Yes... it is adult size, high comb with sling studs attached.
