Which way does the firing pin spring go?
« on: November 02, 2003, 05:51:50 PM »
Took the firing pin out of my Encore to clean, getting a lot of blowback for some reason.  It is cone shaped and I did not look before removing it.  I put the big end of the cone toward the barrel because that seemed to fit the best.  Is that the correct way?

Wonder why T/C does not give an exploded view in the manual like they do with the Contender.  Probably something to do with lawsuits.

Thanks Underclocked.  That is the way I put it back.  The firing pin fit flush that way, but thought I would check.
