New Marlin Lever Action Introduced
« on: March 19, 2010, 12:57:16 PM »
AFAIK, this is a new model/variation of the Marlin Model 336 - the M336BL (Big Lever) - a blued .30-30, with lamo stock, 18 1/2"  bbl, and mid-sized lever loop.

I had my favorite candy store look at the picture and they are ordering some.  Instead of looking for an M375, I think one of those sent to JES and made into a 38-55 is in my future.  (My 38-55 CB is lookin fer a girl friend.) ;D  DP

I'd like to have one with the deluxe walnut stock set and a regular lever on it.  I like the laminated stocks but they add 1/2 lb to the rifle.

I'm not crazy about the stock either. I would rather see it in walnut or synthetic.

Marlin = nice WALNUT to me, checkering is ok but not impressive. Like the bigger loop some one on here was making them look like they were just straighten out the bottom of the loop,
looked really nice.
