XS Sights on a .45-70 Handi Question?
« on: November 27, 2009, 03:50:06 AM »
I was wondering if anyone who had installed the XS sights on their .45-70 Handi actually had to use the test post sight procedure the company recommends, or does the standard front sight supplied have the correct height for sighting in?  Any experiences with these sights would be appreciated.

You need to follow their directions. When I put my set on my .500 handi, I had to have them send me a new sight that was the shortest that they had.  Use the test post and save yourself about 20 dollars.

Great.  Thanks for the feedback.  I'll give it a try.
