Do they offer a matching forend?   I couldn't find it on their site.

Gunstocks Inc does - would probably match close enough...

Thanks for the heads up!   :)

Forends are sold by H&R, part number is listed in the FAQs. Be sure to note these buttstocks are unfinished.

I called Boyd's and ordered one of the prefit stocks,I asked the salesman if they offered a fore-end and He said they do not offer a fore-end, He said  to order the Camo lam. from H&R. I also posted a question adout the H&R  part# to order one. The # for camo lam. smooth is FR01182 and the camo lam. # is SO2413, per member DCmauser. Thanks to all for the info!!! 26-t

Just a quick couple questions to those that have ordered....
How is the fit was there a lot that needed to be done for final fit?
Also how much is the forearm part from NEF?
Thanks

Mine fit great, no altering needed. Here is a link to a close forearm match. Timber Lam. http://www.gunstocksinc.com/web_pages/Plate-pics/NEF-stocks/Handi-rifle-stocks.htm

Or you could do like I did and paint it green to match! ;D

I bought one of the factory seconds, Boyds thumbhole stocks last year really cheap and everyone was out of stock on the forearms, and I finally gave up, so I painted mine green to match the stock as close as I could, and it kind of grew on me, and tell you the truth I don't think it looks half bad, ;D so it's stayed that way.   Function over finish, and you can use what you saved to buy more ammo!

The matching H&R forend part number is in the FAQs and in a sticky in the H&R WTB Classified.

I got the same closeout one they had for sale last year I was lucky to grap the last forearm stock from brownells
The SB-2 30-06 I think draws a lot of does in the woods I been hunting with it now since I change it to the thumb hole set-up and let me tell you the only deer that cross my shooting lane for the last 2 years are doesssssss

I love that forest camo thumbhole stock I bought last year for what was it?....$22 I don't remember but that it was rediculously cheap and I thought it would have a big chunk or something missing but to this day I can't find a thing wrong with it????

Anyway I removed the butt pad and drilled out the back of the stock and put several ounces of .54 caliber muzzleloader round balls and some shot to fill the voids, and added some epoxy to keep it from sounding like maracas, and mounted it on my 20 guage slug gun and using 3" Remington Buckhammers it's recoil feels about like my .357 Maximum.

I love it!
