ultra in 22-250
« on: November 30, 2009, 12:39:28 AM »
I have a ultra in 22-250 and when I bought the gun, I had to put an ejector in it. I have hunting and shoot this rifle several times and the other day when I shot it, the breach opened after I shot. Now the ejector will not grab the case and pull it out of the barrel. The ejector seems fine....except the problem I'm having. Any ideas?

Good morning and WELCOME to GBO!!!

Take some time to read thru the FAQ's at the top of this page. There is a wealth of info there for this and many other issues related!!

To clarify, be sure your latch is clean and free of all oils. Same for the chamber. This alone goes a long way preventing this problem.
