From Wal Mart, Bass Pro, Gander Mountain etc., to every Mom and Pop gunshop around. Most are adequate, some are exceptionally accurate.

During a hunt this year, I was able to pack mine using a side pocket and strap attachment that is on my pack.  These really pack well, and I had no problems with it what so ever.

Looking for an on line dealer as refered off the H&R 1871 web site.

Go to "Gallery of Guns" on internet, from there select Gun Genie, go to brand and toggle H&R.  Find what they have in stock. (changes daily) and then give them your zip code when you select what your'e intrested in.  Gun will be sent to nearest dealer you pick for a preagreed price and is guaranteed for life.

Enjoy your Handi I know I like mine.

RR has a few in stock too..

Look back a few pages here and you'll find a thread on stores that have H&Rs in stock.

Sometimes the dealer and gun genie together have prices higher than MSRP.  On what I've checked, they're the highest prices on the internet.  Tim's right, go to Bud's.

I live in a great area.  Eight gun stores, 1 skeet range, 1 full rifle range, 1 indoor pistol range all within 30 minutes drive.  One of the gun stores here is always about 10% under Gun Genine, even after tax is added in.  Good man to do business with.
