Wad punch size
« on: November 22, 2009, 06:49:04 PM »

I want to buy a wad punch for my Buffalo Classic .45/70.    But I don't know if I should get the .455 or .460.   What's the best size?

I cheated,
I  took my deburring tool and sharpened the mouth of a case that I had drilled a hole through the primer pocket in the rim and use that as the punch and then stick a cleaning rod section through the hole in the rim and push out the wads.  Works real well for me so far on both paper and plastic milk jugs and felt.
