What is the effective range of #2 hevi-shot on geese?

How far will #2 hevi-shot knock em dead? (Velocities around 1300.)  Mainly big snow geese.  

Also, what's the range of #2 tungsten-iron?

I would expect the range of the tungsten mix, to be similar to the hevi shot. With #2's I would imagine that you will get nice patterns out to 35-40 yards. Should be fine for birds over decoys. Any further shots such as pass shooting and I think I would go with the BB, or BBB size.
