I found some new BC's in 45/70 S/W MO.

I found 3 new BC's at a shop in Nixa MO. I bought one ;D $380. It is a (U)date code 2004 BC. The one I bought has the foreend with a different checkering pattern than the other two had,it is checkered all the way across the foreend. I think the other two were (X) datecode,and were only checkered on the sides of the foreend. Is this a common difference by year of manufacture?    Thanks 26-t

Yes, older forend had more and nicer checkering, congrats!  ;)

The Arms Mart in Independence, MO (KC Metro) has a BC for $260 I think, used, but looks new to me. I have no money of course to do anything about it, but if any GBO members are local, have a look.
