I checked the FAQs but did not see any info on installing the 7/8 by 5" recoil suppressor in the lam. thumbhole stocks.  Mine is solid behind the recoil pad.  Looks like it will be a challenge to get a 7/8 x 5" hole drilled in there without boring through to the surface because of the contour of the stock.

Has anyone tried this?

Thanks,
Bobby

Be the first and let us know how it goes, then I'll put it in the FAQs!!  ;D There's lots of stock there, still unnerving tho, you can custom size the depth of the hole tho, maybe even put two of em in!!  ;)

Tim,
It looks like to have enough wood for the 5" it would have to tilt up slightly toward the cheek piece.  Do you think this will affect its performance?

Yeah, I forgot about the dished part of the t-hole, I think a shorter one would be a better choice since it could be mounted inline with the bore, maybe two, drill two 3" holes if one wasn't enough recoil reduction.
