I want to buy a centerfie Handi but want a 2000 or newer how do you know what year it is? My SER NO. on my HMR start with NU What does it mean?

Hi Joshua... There is a enty in the  FAQ that discusses this.. but basically, the N specifies that the gun is made BY NEF (an H would signify manufacture by H&R) and the U is the year..I Think U is 2005, but you should check the FAQ to be certain...
