SF--MJ--& CIGARS
« on: October 08, 2009, 07:31:43 AM »
Well the Presidents Cup is being Played in San Francisco---you know the city that celebrates cultural diversity.
Michael Jordan is a special assistant to the American Squad/Team.
Now, this International Cup is played bi-annually all over the world. Canada two years ago.
This year it is being played on a freshly revitalized Harding Park Golf Course---a public facility.
MJ like many folks smokes cigars. Well, not in San Francisco on a public course---nope/nada/can't do it----$200 fine.
Now---you can trasport aids and all manner of STD's in San Francisco---that is your right. Smoke however may give someone cancer and you can't do it on a 500 acre park.
Is there something wrong with this picture?
Blessings

A perfect example of the HIPOCRISY of the left..I understand cigar smoke are maybe any smoking can offend but not in open areas.

Yes sir seeing how most of those idiots probably have aids or some type STD...thats OK you must understand... thats acceptable to handle your food at a nice SF Resturand but ohh don't light up around them or in their city for that matter.

No common sense is an inbred trait of those idiots.

I don't smoke, but I am a friend of anyone who wants to as long as they aren't blowing smoke at me. When I see laws like that I am disgusted. I would like to see businesses who can cater to a smoking clientele.

I have enough trouble breathing as it is. Smoke from any type of tobacco really lays me out. You'll get no support from me for smoking in any public place. What ya do at home or in your car is fine but in public areas inside or outside I'm dead set against it due to what it does to me.

Well come to my home town. The only resturant that has been able to stay open is our only smoker friendly one.All the nonsmoking ones last about 3-4 months and close.WE have smokers and non smokers a like, setting at the same table. If you don't like smoke,go some where else.Wife wont go and that's fine with me too. When we go out I always set in the non smoking section.Doesn't bother me not to smoke, but at breakfast it's caffene, nicotine and BSine.Slow

Well, I smoke. I have no problem riding by myownself if someone says something about my smoke---And I ask if I don't know.
However, no one that I know of---of those who don't smoke---has any affinity to being on the golf course with smokers.

William, I certainly wouldn't mind you smoking on the golf course if we played a round together... and I'm certain you would have no problem with me farting while you line up your putts either.  :P
