What have I bought?

Went into the local shop today to "just look".  Wound up with yet another handi.  This is a HK rec.  .270 Barrel with extractor.  I bought the rifle for the stock.  It is a BLONDE monte carlo with checkering ;D on the forearm and grip.  Is this an ultra stock of some sorts??  I have a .308 barrell that fits nicely on this frame.  I Will have the .270 barrel in the classifieds soon.  I already have  a .270 win Mod 70.

Hey Tim.  That's the color and the checkering!!!  The wood on yours is striped different than mine.  Mine looks more like a laminate, with the stripes going horizontal.  Yours is way cool.  I have a thing for the more "exotic" stocks.
