44 Revolver cylinder throats will measure from as small as .428 up to as large as .434 and possibly a bit over that on rare occasions. Bullets must be a close fit to cylinder throats to get top accuracy, and barrel diameter must be slightly smaller than bullet /cylider throat diameter to get optimum.
I deleted the persons answer who spoke for me, because he said throats are normally .430. They are the size your gun measures, and there is no guess that will insure performance.
You state in your answer to him that you are using commercial cast, so whatever their diameter is, you will just have to live with. You have already played with a few loads and found what shoots best, and name 1150 fps as the highest velocity. That is 22 LR speed with 6 times the weight, and the meplat is probably at least 4 times the frontal area. Since thousands of deer have been taken with 22 lr bullets, your load certainly will kill deer just fine if you place your shots well, but probably the meplat is smaller than ideal and more speed will kill better, if you can get it without losing accuracy.
I'm estimating, based on many commercial cast SWC's and your velocity, that wound diameter will be slightly over a half inch, and maybe 5/8 inch diameter through the vitals. You'll need to place your shots well to get quick clean kills.
