I'm interested to hear if you catfishermen learned anything new this past season, as far as techniques or approaches to catching catfish. It seems like my biggest challenge is being able to read the water in order to figure out where a feeding cat is holding. Every time I made the corrtect educated guess this past season I was rewarded with a nice cat. But, I spent quite a few trips sticking cut baits in areas that looked great but didn't hold any active fish, that or they weren't there in first place.
So I learned that I need to refine my ability to locate good areas by what the current indicates at the surface.
I think it would be a great help to all the catfishermen at the beginning of the learning curve to hear everryones learning experiences from the past season.
Well, got to go check to see if the UPS guy dropped off any coyote traps. Hope everyone has a weekend befitting of the incredible fall colors I'm Seeing. Makes it very hard to concentrate on work, or school. We should have 6 months of October and 6 of May,that would be a perfect world.
