We've still got 2 tournaments left.  1 this weekend and one in November.  How about you all?  Still fishing?

Skipper,

This is my favorite time to fish and hope to get into some smallmouth next week.  I've not been able to get out recently as work has a way of infringing on my free time  .

Blessings!

I heard that work thing.  Its wearing me out this year.  My pre-fishing time has been nil.  I guess that's why I'm so far behind in the points.

Well I'm not fishing tornies but I'm still out there at 6am now and its 30 degrees and their still biting!!!  It seems they fight harder in the fall or is it me? These little bass 2 to 3lbs fight so much harder than the bigger ones frisky little buggers.  One was so bad the other day he took me on a tour of the channel all over the place I thought I had  porker/hog on for sure.  But your right hunting soon going bear hunting this weekend between working on my camp the roof on the trailer is leaking it just needs a coat of water proof paint and its good for another 15years.
I'm going to stay fishing right up to the ice this year. I have to wear the thin ice fishing gloves now is the only draw back I think i'm going to cut off the finger tips thats my only complaint its hard to change baits and cast with gloves on.                                        BigBill
