Is the Renington pump as finicky as the auto when using reloads?

When I reloaded for the Remington 7600 I used full length RCBS re-sizing dies and had no problems. These same dies worked for the 7400 I owned.

No!  The autoloaders are very sensitive as far as operating pressyures are concerned.  I haven't noticed this with my pumps.

My 760 pump works very smoothly with loads that would jam my 742 in a minute.  You don't have to keep to light loads and medium burn-rate powders like you do with the autos.  I always full-length resize, so I can't comment on whether neck sized cases will work properly.

The Rem. 740 &7400 can be a pain if you don't keep the chambers real clean. If you'r not wearing out a chamber brush every 2 to 3 years your not using it enough.

Mine takes about anythingand some bear loads are stiff.  She keeps on ticking though.
