The newer, center feed has a bit longer spacing between the action screws. When you buy a stock you need to know which you have and then buy a stock to fit your action. The newer center feed has only been out for a couple of years, so stock selection is skimpy. They are starting to show up however. Just make sure you get the correct stock for the type of action you have. It matters not if it is a model 10,11,16 etc. or a Stevens 200, they should fit. Measure between the action screws to confirm if it will fit. The stock you are looking for should tell you what the spacing is or at least tell you if it is the stagger feed or center feed. 4.25" is the spacing for the stagger feed and 4.40" is the spacing for the newer center feed. I could be wrong on this, but I think the Duramaxx currently will only fit the older stagger feed (4.25" spacing). Bell and Carlson does make a stock to fit the newer center feed - it is the Medalist. Of course they do cost more some where around $220, depending on the finish and where you buy them at. Considerably more than the Duramaxx. They will eventually come out with a Duramaxx that will fit the newer center feed action; just not yet (I think). Good luck and Good Shooting
BTW - I own a Medalist tactical for a Remington 700 and it is a very good stock, heavy but solid as a rock.
