Yup use bullets cast at .309 170 grains and Accurate 5744. Shoots like a house afire.If you don't cast plenty of good makers out there. You might want to scroll down to our cast boolit area. I will not give powder load data. That is your responsibility.

i also am interested in this topic . whats with the whole gas check thing ?? do u got to use them?

Gaschecks are basically for 1500FPS+ in my opinion.  It is more important that the bullet fits the barrel than havin a gascheck.  With gaschecks you can push them harder.
