PT92/99 SS

What is a fair price for a used (5 year old) Taurus PT92-SS and PT 99-SS? I have a chance to get one and the owner asked me what I think it's worth? I was thinking $250.

It all depends what shape it's in. I have one that's not quite that old and if you offered me $250 for it I would probably hurt myself I'd be laughing so hard. Kidding aside they are good guns but I think you are going to have to cough up some more money but who knows. Make the offer and see what happens.

Thanks for the input oldandslow. I was told a price of $350. It's a model 99 ss with 2 (11 rd) clips. My original thought or $250 does seem quite low, and the $350 seems about right. I am going to check it out and go from there.

The Blue Book of Gun Values give $300 for one in 95% condition, $385 for 98%. But my copy is an '06. I'm sure they have escalated in price like about everything else in the gun world.
