48 degrees and light rain.Bad news yesterday, wife got laid off.  Ain't life grand, oh well , I know that the Obama regime will take care of us . ::)  Not looking for any hand outs just needing to rant.   
I am working on a 357 handi for a short truck gun, pictures will follow asap.    Doug

Good morning all .   
cannon6  ,sorry to hear of wifes job loss .

We are off hunting today again . Guests from Rock Island Ill . here . Yesterday was an unsettled cool day . We got 322 gophers . Hoping for 500 or more today . It is clear beautiful and temps rising .

Wow, I thought I used to be a real gopher slayer, but I guess I was only faking the funk.  500 gophers?  You guys must be in a real battle up there.

Southpaw, you guys mean business when hunting those gophers! Nice score.

Mt_Sourdough, that's a fact there. They must have those gophers charging them left and right. Makes a guy want to take up arms and get out to Montana and into the battle before those gophers overrun the entire state.

Only 322 gophers? Sorry to hear the shooting was so poor...

Canon sorry to hear about the wife getting laid off...I hope if it's what she wants, that it is a short term deal.
