Scope ring height needed for a 2x7x32
« on: May 26, 2009, 03:08:35 PM »
I was wondering which scope ring height to get for a 2x7x32 Nikon? Most likely I will be using Leopold rings. Just put a 3x10x40 on a Handi barrel and it took the highs,so the hammer could clear the scope. Zeak

I use Weaver highs.  You can use meds if you grind the hammer.  I didn't want to do that.

I have a 2x7x32 Leupold mounted with Leupold Rifleman medium rings. It just barely clears but it does make it.

I had to go with the Leupold highs, the med wouldn't clear the hammer. Almost but not enough, I just can't grind the hammer off, like to leave them orignal.  Zeak
