today at the annual shootout.....

they were all there.... even german target things
they did look good though!!!!!!
my .204, .223, 39, and .308
out shot them all !!!!!!! in them classes.
encore and the rugers did'nt even compete.
they were there for the looks.......
we were shoot'n for accuracy with one shot...
we get 3 fouling shots before the final.
my handi's were tricked and tuned
all with middle line glass.
was very few people shoot'n hand loads
maybe thats why i ruled !!
makes ya think, maybe they ain't got the experiance.
out of over 70 long guns there, only around 40 did any shoot'n.
but i will admit,,,  as good as some of them looked i'd be scared to shoot'um too!!!
i did shoot against a couple of encores in the .308 class, but they were walk'n all over the paper.
i guess they did'nt have enough range time.. or something...
all i know is the handi's stole the show for accuracy.
but, all of mine are not stock...
that could be the majority of the reason!!!!!

btw---- only 3 lead sleds were there, counting mine with full strapping

It's nice when the ugly duckling out shoots all the pretty rifles.  Just to see the look on they're faces would be worth the price of admition.  That is the real beauty of the Handi-rifle.  Good shooting and keep on schooling those non believers.

most everybody was spotting during the fouling shots, looking at potential accuracy
of the others.  thats when shoot'n irons went back to there cases !!!!
next time my poa will be a  little low and to the right.
kinda wild when ya gotta force the people to shoot....

  Yep, they spent so much money on guns and glass they couldn't afford the ammo to make 'em go. You on the other hand had bench time, both shootin and loadin. Experience trumps glitz and glamor every time. Congratulations!

My 204 wears a Bushnell Legend 5x15 mildot.  I would not think twice about putting it up against any pretty gun.  Like you said throw the fouling shoots all over the place then sucker punch them.  Accuracy has never been a beauty contest.  A rifle is no good if your afraid to take out just incase you might scratch it.  All of mine are working guns and if it gets a mark who cares aleast I'm shooting and that's what counts.

@200yrds it'll put a kiyotes eye out with 32 magnification.
my 220 swifty ain't that percise.
