hi new here im trying to find out best ammo or fatory recommended ammo for h&r 223

Welcome! One of the most popular to try is the Winchester white box 45gr JHP, it shoots very well in most 223 H&Rs and is commonly available at Walmart in the 40 round value packs.  ;)

Most of my 223s like the ULTRAMAX brand with the 52gr BTHP.
Can get them pretty cheap when they are on sale from THE SPORTSMANS GUIDE catalog.

Welcome to GBO,

The 223 i had LOVED Hornady's TAP 223 75 gr offering ... It wasnt bad with some various different loads from 55 gr to 69 gr that i tried , But it would give dime sized groups all day with the TAP ammo ... Oh and that TAP ammo performs great on game ... Below is a couple pics of game that me and the missus took with the handi 223 and TAP ammo.
The Hogs wt. was 257 lbs
