A little OT, This Family
« on: May 23, 2009, 03:46:41 PM »
I was gone from this forum for a little over three days.  I had to go to Marshfield, WI for med exams.....all fine.  Anyhow, I got home and the computer would'nt run last night.....server problem....deadly slow.  I was in the shower today, and Tim, Quickdtoo, called to ask if I'm o.k.  I hadn't been on the forum.  He had emailed me the same question.  Patty told Tim I'd call him back and I did in a couple of minutes, and had a good phone visit with Tim.

I guess the bottom line is, Tim missed me here........none of my friends (but one) or family (none) missed me at all.  It all leads me to believe my best friends and family are here on this forum.

We met up with skifastchad in Wausau, WI Thursday evening and had a very nice and special visit.  It's always great to meet fellow members personally.

It's finally range weather, but as I told Tim, the Max is going to have to wait until the garden gets put in and the lawn mowed.  The lawn is so bad I'm selling Cape Buffalo tags for the front lawn.......I know they're lurking there :D

Anyhow, I'm home.  Thanks Tim :-*

Pete

It would have been  MUCH  more fun.  I'm soooooo glad to have it over for a year and go on with normal life.  We'll be shooting, gardening, camping and fishing, spliting and stacking firewood and all the warm summer things.

I missed you Pete :) I haven't been on here much either. Got my 2nd garden in today finally ::) Mowed a little too. Got my new 223 with camo stocks the other day but haven't even finished cleaning it yet. Tried to post with pics the other night and computer lost everything. Too tired to try again. Not windy here today but had to get that garden in. Hope you get to spend some quality time with those sisters. ;)

Well darn Pete... I never noticed you was gone... :-\

Look at the bright side though... I don't have to worry about not taking the time to answer that last PM you sent me that you wouldn't have read anyway because you weren't around ...  ;D

Makes perfectly good sense to me, but then your profession has a reputation for being able to do that :o ::) :o

Glad to be here. ;)

Glad to hear the news from the Doc. was good, Pete.  Been in and out of the site so fast myself these last few days, didn't realize you were not on.  MY BAD!  I agree with ya on this site and the people who are on it.  Great bunch of people, some of the other places just aren't the kind of sites I want to hang out on as much.  There's a bunch of posters here I would really like to meet, the rest will have to wait till we all get to "Handi-Heaven". ;D  DP

Heck I not only missed you being gone I missed you saying you were back!  ;D

I've been in and out infrequently lately!

Good news Pete!
