A question on barrel fit
« on: May 18, 2009, 11:03:24 AM »
I bought a 45-70 handi rifle a few months ago.  When locked up I could just barely see light between the barrel and receiver when looking at it from the side.  I could see maybe 3/8" of light.  This was with the factory fitted frame.

I tried this barrel on another frame and I can see no light at all.  Does this mean than the 2nd frame is a better fit?  Is there anything else I need to check?  Is there supposed to be a little light visible?

See Barrel Fitting in the FAQs, it's all in there.  ;)
