I have one that I realy like.It shoots 240's about 6" high and about 4" to the left, and thats with the rear sight all the way down. 300gr. horn.xtp's seem to be the best bullet for this gun.
an unloaded wepon is equal to the same mass and volume as a rock.

This 250lb whitetail dropped with 1 shot from my Rossi single shot 44mag last fall, 305gr Buffalo Bore kept right on going after splitting his heart in half and breaking a leg on its way out.
He's mighty tasty too! :)

I couldn't find a Rossi in 44 mag on their site, do they still make it? I'd love to find one.

This is a new offering, based on their larger single shot action.  I have seen one at Whittaker Guns.  I dont really like the raised (removable) cheek piece on the stock.  Also, it seems to me that the front sight was not aligned quite right on the barrel (I have seen several Rossi's with the same problem, including a 12 guage slug gun).  It also comes with a scope mount, so the sight issue may not be a factor.
