I posted these on another site...figured that they would be appreciated here! (Moderators...if in the wrong place, let me know)..
I made these two projects, both with .75 bores. The first one is a mace-style gonne, turned from a piece of cold rolled steel, with a .50 sub-chamber for powder. The staff is maple.


The second, a hachebusche, with a oak stock. As in all my projects, I made a cardboard template first:

Here is a close-up of the barrel and the blade, which was forged and hardened. The barrel straps were also forged by a 'smithy friend.
