Well I guess I can now say my new #1 shoots.
Since I picked it up last May I put over six hundred rounds through it,I still have 300 primers in the box I use for the Shiloh. That is how I keep track of the rounds I fired.I find it easer then keeping a log, some times I forget to write it down.
The rifle is a #1 with all the trimings and good wood.(a beautifull piece of work from the Shiloh works)
The caliber is in .40-70 with a 34" barrel and MVA tang sight and a Shiloh 111 globe front sight.
Shooting 60 rounds at 200 yds, that's as far as I can shoot till the corn is picked,I keep 48-53 inside 3" and the rest are never more then 3" out from center of the groupe. Most generaly I will call that shot.
I hope that silhouette rifle I have coming shoots as well.
Lp.

Well Oldwoodburner, there are a few rifles that come in a mans hands during his short lifetime, and the Lord knows I had my share, and sorry to say I let some of them go, regredding it later.I have another sharps by a nother maker but it wont hold a candle to this rifle. This one will get passed down to my son when the time comes.
If I did'nt have this cobweb floating arround in the center of my shooting eye I think it would do better.I just cant see that fine line anymore.
