:-D I Love My .54 Cabelas Sporterized Hawkins!! :-D

That goofey, nickle plated, shallow groove, worthless 1-48 twist, hunk of second grade lyman steel,, I been shootin an gatherin game an fame with fer year's?? (by the way that's a 6mm x .75 nipp.,,,!)
,,Is bout'(almost) my favorite gun! ( I'm still building my favorite!). Did I say I love my .54? :-)

  sorry, I get a bit carried away. I'm far from the best shooter out there, but, it out shoots any tc  lead shooter I've competed with.

Doc, if your a contender shooter, don't expect the same performance with pellets,it's a whole nuther creature! Don't even waste the sabot's-n-pellet's tryin, yer gonna need prb or full lead, loose t7 or swiss and a darn snug fit ta boot. Maximum accuracy is found way under maximum load of 100gr 2f.

HI DOC:  I shoot a .54 Renegade T/C and have found these loads to be very effective in my 1:48 barrel. for 25-50 yds 45gr. 2F goex, 100 yds 95gr 2F Goex. With these loads I have no sight change for the 50-100 targets. Good Luck and BURN SOME POWDER :P
