After reading this forum for several months, I finally bought my first rifle. They had a gun show this weekend and I found a slightly used 25-06 with the laminated stock, scope base, and rings. From the looks of the hammer spur it had been used by a lefty. Bought a set of Lee dies while I was there also. I had already purchased a Bushnell 10x military scope from my Bushnell outlet store, and was just waiting for something to mount it on. The scope is mounted and bore-sighted, now I just need to make up some loads and the fun begins. Thanks to all who provide comments in the forum, it has been very helpful in making a decision.
