Where can I find a bore guide for the Handi? I've been looking high and low with no luck! Thanks -g

Thanks Kurt.

Thanks Quick...I knew that..... and should have looked!
I may need to find another source other than Sinclair.
Min shipping charge for this under an ounce item is $10.25 and at that price, it's more than the item purchased!
I guess I need to find something else on there site to make it worth buying from them. -g

I use the sinclair guide works real good  but have the same problem mim. shiping charge too high  you get a new reloading die set and then need a different bushing size the shiping is more than the order ???

I wait until I need $100 worth of stuff & the shipping should be $15 or less. If the company charges more

than $15 per $100 I don't deal with them.   :-[   Jim

Drill out a spent case to fit your rod. Just leave it on the rod.

Yup, that would be bad news for my nice carbon fiber rods!!  ::) I have a couple of the Sinclair guides, but my favorite is the Kleenbore nylon guide with a flat cut in one side to fit in the chamber, the flat indexes on the ejector/extract and stays on the rod.  ;)

I've used a spent case drilled out for my .17 Remington Savage for years now, my cleaning rod still has the all the coating on it, it works perfect, don't let anyone scare you off from this, it is cheap and it works perfect and won't cost you $35.00.  Larry

If your worried about sharp edges, drill the hole a little larger than the rod, then take a smaller drill bit and wrap some steal wool around it. The drill spins the steal wool on tight and does a great job of polishing. Carefully wobble the drill around to remove the burr and sharp edge.  I used this to clean the exit port on fire extinguishers. It did a good job on them and most were made of plastic. Had to be careful with them. Brass will be a breeze.
