CC on an M/C trip

This year before I take my M/C trip, I want some input on how others CC on their trips.  My normal carry is a Sig P229 these days, but when I take trips on the bike I usually opt for my J-frame 642.  It can still be a little uncomfortable in an IWB holster on 300+ mile days for 7-10 days in summer weather.  Just wondering how others find is the most comfortable ways to conceal while riding long trips.

I leave my guns home on a long trip..never saw the need for them, and don't want the extra weight..I carry too much stuff already.. ::)

I took my little Keltec P3-AT (380) with me on my Yellowstone trip.  Even took it in the park with me while we camped.  With 4 rounds in it I never had any problems keeping it in my front pocket.

I picked up a magnetic tank bag made by Daytona that has a holster built right into it.  I was kinda skepical at first but it stays put vey well.  I take it with me when I leave the bike as it also holds my wallet & phone and just place it back on the tank before I leave again.  Works very well.  Gary, I didn't know that you ride also. We should get together and go for a ride this summer.

I also use a magnetic tank bag. Bought it in the 1980s. Works great. I usually cary a J frame too and just transfer to a pocket before leaving the bike.  ;D

NA .22 mag 5rounds left front pocket.  S&W 2 1/2 " model 686 in a high ride paddle holster just left of the center of the back. (I'm left handed).   Always carry just too many crazies out there. If it gets uncomfortable I take the 686 out and saddle bag it for a while,but the NA is always on me and is surprizing how accurate out to 30' it is.

I have decided that the Sig P229 is most likely staying home, and will wear my vest no matter the temps), and will have the S&W 642 in the vest pocket and sometimes IWB carry.  I like your idea of the .22 mag, I also have an NAA .22Mag w/ the folding grip and I think this will go along also.

With my wife carrying her LCP, and my brother carrying his Sig. P225, I hope to have plenty of backup if needed.

I always have my Ruger SP101 with me in a Crossbreed Supertuck IWB holster. Once I figure out where it works best for me, I have never had a problem with it.
