Why remove it? As long as the finish is to texture of your liking, just paint over in the color you want... If your conserned, lightly sand, prime and recoat.

I have had VERY GOOD luck with Duplicolor truck bed coating. It leavs a "sand" finish and is satin black.

Thats the problem, the texture is awful. I tried to paint my daughters Handi stock pink camo and it didn't turn out. I may just have to sand it down and repaint it.

I think you are in for a losing battle trying to remove Fusion paint from a synthetic stock. The whole idea behind the Fusion paint is that it actually is supposed to "Fuse" itself into the plastic to create a bond that won't easily flake off. I have no personal experience with it, but that is how I understand what I have read on it.

I checked the Krylon website, their FAQs recommend Lacquer thinner to remove paint from a project, but it's hard on most plastics IMO, so you might try an inconspicuous spot first to see if it melts the stock.

How do I remove the paint from my project?

Most paints can be removed with a lacquer thinner.  Please refer to the instructions on the back of the can.

chlorinated brake cleaner if it is legal where you live

I used it for poor man's Gunscrubber.  I don't know about a Handi, but it will take the Fusion off a Savage.

As cwlongshot points out-  Duplicolor bedliner is cheap and nigh unto indestructible.  (as long as you like black)

Same Savage:

I tried non-chlorinated brake cleaner and it worked great. I had painted some left over politicians yard signs with Fusion for the purpose of making targets out of them(if politicans come to your door and want to put signs in your yard, take'em. After they leave throw them in the garage and wait for the next one to show up and take his too ;D, they make great target stands, just tape your sight-in targets to them or paint your own on them.) and it took it right off without melting this much softer plastic. I'm going to try it on the stock and see what happens.
