HOW GOES THE BARREL FITTING FROM REMINGTON?

sortof  thinking of  gettin a few barrels , wondered how the program is doing? anyone had any come back recently? how was everything? anyone talked to  them lately?

I mailed mine off on 12/5/08 and am still awaiting it's return. A couple weeks ago I got an e-mail from big green saying my part had been logged in but there's been no change in status since then.

They have had mine for 4 months now.  Been waiting on a 44mag barrel the entire time.  They had the BP and 357mag barrels I ordered.

Sent a frame in around the first week in November for three barrels (280, 12 ga, 357) and it arrived back in town December 19 (bout 6 weeks total).  Everything came back in good shape.  Shotgun barrel on the frame in a reinforced box (not double boxed but a gun box with extra cardboard around it) and the other barrels individually packed in Remington shotgun barrel boxes inside another box.  All well packaged.  I was charged exactly the costs quoted on the order sheet with the exception of the sales tax that was added in. I have not fired the Handi since it returned.

Why did they charge you sales tax? Do you live in New York? (I take it you sent it to Ilion)....<><....:(

thats  sounds like good news then, 6wks isnt to bad  for a wait, and if all came back as yu ordered and works  then so be it , how was the 357 barrel?  sights?  scope base?
