Early line throwing guns

Paul Barnett wrote a wonderful book you can still get called "The Lifesaving Guns of David Lyle."  At the time he wrote it he admittedly lacked certain information such as the specifications on Robert P. Parrott's lifesaving gun.  Today by accident I ran across a wealth of data in a Google book.  I've linked it to go to the specs on Parrott's gun, in case anyone finds one of them and doesn't recognize it, keep the specs in the back of your head, because I don't think there's a single example known, at least that has been id'd as a Parrott line gun:
