It was waiting for me when I got home from deer hunting Sunday!   ;D  100 pieces of Norma 45/120 brass!   I had to open a pack and fondle one of those beauties!  :P  Dad Gum they are LONG!   :o  They seem to just cry out to be fed Black Powder!   :-\  But, one step at a time...

Obtain reloading equipment... anyone know if can I use my Lee factory crimp die?   ???
Rent reamer and ream chamber
develop smokeless hunting load - 4 - 500 gr. Lead gas check
restock and personalize rifle... simultaneously with working on a handload.
Be done by next deer season!

This is going to be fun!   :D  My hunting partners will c&*^ when they see a loaded round, deer will look at it - give up and climb in the back of my truck, squirrels will fall from the trees when it goes off and the earth will tremble... this be one bad mama jammer!   :o ;D

I use a 1.10" long piece of ½" thin wall electrical conduit as a spacer to use the Lee 45-70 FCD, works great.  ;)

LUCKY MAN!!!!! ;D  I too will be loading up shortly as I should be recieving my order of Starline 38-55 brass in the next day or so ;)........ and true to form, ;) ;) ;) I will be loading them ALL up with FF Swiss........  Last friday I got in 500 rounds of .381 265 grn Montana Precision Swagged heads, got ALL of my Black Powder (smokeless IS a passing fad!!! ::)), 1000 primers and new  38-55 Cowboy dies from RCBS,,,,,,,   NOW tell me retirement isn't wonderful!!!  Have fun reloading"AtlLaw"!

Hold on there, Driver.  I haven't heard that much excitement from you in a quite a while.  Hope the wife doesn't get a little jealous of that Handi, just don't refer to the project as "She" or "Her". ;D  Sounds like you just found a new avenue to travel the trail to full blown Handiholic. ::)  Have fun and keep us posted, my friend.  DP

Nope, I've developed procrastination into a fine art.  I got an Argie FAL that I've been trying to get around to sending off to get the barrel put on the semi-auto receiver for I don't know how many years now.  I've got another sitting on my workbench waiting to be put back together for the last 3 years!  Don't rush me!   ;D  But as I DO take a positive step, I'll let y'all know.   :D
