Could probably rebore a .22 hornet barrel, or drill it out for a 25-20 liner from Brownells.  Midway has Green River 25-20 blanks for $80 that could be used for stub project.

This is one of the three calibers, I would love to have a handi barrel in...   The others are the 25-35 and 32-40...

If you went with a barrel liner as Airsporter mentioned, you would probably have a wider selection of donor barrels depending on the OD of the liner.

+1 on that CW.
I'd like to have a 32-20 also.

Roger on the 32-20 also!   Especially since perhaps they still have some unchambered 7.62 barrels laying around!  32-20 mo bettah fun on the range than so many others!

The mighty 25-20....That would be cool...  Isn't the 25-20 the gun that Jim Jordan brought down the Legendary "Jordan Buck" with?  The "Jordan Buck" held the Typical White Tail record for years and there was quite a story behind it.  It was killed in Danbury Wisconsin, where I deer hunt every year.  Well, here's a link to the story:  http://www.burnettcounty.com/tourism/jordanbuck.html.

It is amazing that he was able to bag an animal that large (est 400 lbs live weight) with that little cartridge.

Now if old Jim would have just opted for the 45/70 that day like myself, instead of the 25-20 things would have been a whole lot different that day and this story probably wouldn't have ever been told...

I'd love to see a 32-20 myself. I think Smith & Wesson made some M&P revolvers in this cartridge. That would be a nice hunting pair.
