Older rifle / Shotgun barrels on newer frames
« on: October 10, 2008, 04:41:30 PM »
A few people have asked me for some questions about the fitting of older rifle / shotgun barrels onto newer SB2 frames.

Most of my older barrels fit on my newer frames with only a couple exceptions.

All will be able to fit using the info in the FAQ section.

I have added a few pictures to explain what it would look like.

The silver frame is a 1972 Topper 490 frame with the step down. Attached to it is a 30-30 win.

I then took off the topper frame and put the same barrel on one of my SB2 frames that I use to shoot this barrel.

how come God made 'em outta meat?

I went the other way and put a new Pardner barrel on an old Topper frame.  It worked perfectly.
Keep both eyes open and make the first shot good.
